Position Summary: Imprimis Group is seeking a Project Manager experienced in land development,  for our client, a growing land development corporation in the North Houston area. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall success and supervision of residential, commercial, and industrial, land development projects. This position drives business development activities in conjunction with the firms’ annual business development objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and monitors project budgets; has overall responsibility for the profitability of assigned projects.
  • Manages the project schedules and timely completion of projects.
  • Prepares design concepts and develops project plans and specifications.
  • Prepare proposals for engineering services.
  • Coordinates and approves pricing, estimating, and proposed strategies for proposed projects.
  • Serves as a designated client contact.
  • Supervises and monitors client relationship strategies.
  • Prepare forecast of workload for team.
  • Supervises and directs team of technical staff and assigns tasks.
  • Meets/corresponds with clients to obtain direction/feedback
  • Attend client meetings- day or night.
  • Conducts site visits as required.
  • Responsible for control of work-in-process for, ensures accurate client billings and monitors outstanding accounts receivable and collection efforts on assigned projects.
  • Initiates business development activities.
  • Conduct performance reviews and career development for team members.
  • Performs other duties incidental to the work described herein.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year college or university
  • PE license
  • 6-10 years project management experience
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
  • Outstanding writing, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCad Civil 3D; experience with Deltek a plus
  • Must be fluent in the English language

Imprimis Group is seeking a Texas Certified Project Engineer (P.E.), for our client, a growing H&H and land development corporation to lead and support drainage and hydrology/hydraulics (H&H) projects in the North Houston area. This individual will play a key role in client engagement, technical oversight, and project management while mentoring junior staff and delivering innovative engineering solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Drainage and H&H Engineering.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong project management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with engineering modeling and GIS software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality work
  • Comfortable interacting with regulatory officials
  • Desire to mentor others
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Client Managers to identify and secure new projects through creative and cost-effective solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal team members.
  • Establish clear and consistent communication protocols with clients.
  • Ensure alignment between client expectations and project deliverables (scope, fee, schedule).
  • Lead feasibility studies, drainage impact analyses, conveyance analyses, and flood control projects.
  • Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to technical challenges.
  • Utilize engineering software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, XP/PC SWMM, KYPIPE, and ArcGIS.
  • Lead modeling efforts, including 1D, 2D, and coupled 1D-2D hydraulic modeling.
  • Mentor graduate engineers and collaborate with sub-consultants to develop technical and leadership skills.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle—from concept development through final delivery.
  • Stay current with drainage criteria and engage with local and regional review agencies.
  • Ensure all design solutions align with client objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee project delivery and ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance.
  • Solicit and analyze client feedback to drive continuous improvement.
