Location: Alvarado, TX (onsite)
Compensation: $225,000 – $250,000 base + bonus
Overview
Imprimis Group / IGXperts is partnering on a confidential search for a Vice President of Operations to lead a complex, multi-site manufacturing division in high-growth mode. This is not a sit-back-and-direct role. This is a hands-on operator who knows how to step into the plants, work alongside leadership, and drive real output. You’ll work directly with executive leadership and have full visibility across the operation, with a clear mandate to improve efficiency, scale production, and position the business for continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Full operational leadership across a multi-site manufacturing environment
- Direct oversight of:
- 6 Plant Managers
- 1 Operations Manager
- P&L responsibility with a focus on:
- Driving efficiencies
- Increasing output
- Improving margins
- Cross-functional coordination across:
- Engineering
- Project Management
- Estimation & Production Planning
- Continuous improvement initiatives across all sites
- Building, coaching, and holding plant leadership accountable
- Establishing and driving KPIs that actually move the business
What You’re Walking Into
- Engineered-to-order manufacturing (not cookie-cutter production)
- Multi-site operations with complex coordination across facilities
- A business in growth mode with plans to scale significantly
- A flat, low-bureaucracy environment where ownership matters
- A leadership team that expects execution—not theory
Requirements
- Proven operations leader with multi-site manufacturing experience
- Strong background in:
- Welding and/or steel fabrication
- Engineered-to-order or complex manufacturing environments
- Track record managing 3+ plants (ideally 5–7 sites)
- Experience driving:
- Operational efficiency
- Process improvement (OpEx / Continuous Improvement)
- Production output
- Hands-on leadership style—you don’t manage from a spreadsheet
- Comfortable stepping into plants, solving problems in real time
- Strong presence with plant leadership and executive teams

Location & Travel
- Based in Alvarado, TX (onsite)
- Travel: 25–50% across multiple facilities (higher upfront)
