Imprimis Group has partnered with a structural engineering firm, and they have an immediate need for a Sr. Survey Technician. The candidate for this position will have a myriad of structural and survey designs while producing high quality work and adhering to strict deadlines.

DIRECT HIRE – ONSITE – GARLAND, TX
$75-90K - GREAT COMPANY CULTURE!
Responsibilities:
- Utilize strong CAD skills, particularly in AutoCAD, for surveying projects.
- Proficient in Carlson Software for Surveying, Civil 3D, and Trimble Business Center (TBC) Software.
- Assist field personnel with field collection, utilizing Trimble and Leica controllers.
- Possess or develop a deep understanding of land title for surveying purposes.
- Manipulate LiDAR data using Trimble TBC and Leica Cyclone software.
- Analyze the quality of GPS vectors in Trimble TBC, understanding GNSS principles.
- Apply knowledge of measurement science and Least Squares analysis to conventional and GNSS survey data.
- Compile surveying products for publication or use by engineers/architects with at least five years of technical experience.
- Produce survey reports, demonstrating proficiency in English (Spanish is advantageous but not required).
- Communicate effectively with other professionals through professional level reading and writing skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of field experience in surveying and LiDAR data manipulation required.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in office-based surveying or demonstrated aptitude.
- Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in CAD, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson Software and Trimble software required.
- Strong understanding of the science of measurement and has proven experience analyzing conventional and GSS survey data.
