Imprimis Group has partnered with a growing privately held family office in Plano to identify an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. What You'll Do
As the Senior Accountant, you'll oversee day-to-day accounting functions across multiple entities and partner closely with leadership to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple business entities
- Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules
- Process and oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and collections
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis
- Monitor budget-to-actual performance and identify reporting variances
- Support annual tax preparation, audits, and outside CPA relationships
- Maintain fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and supporting documentation
- Review contracts, leases, and financing agreements for accounting implications
- Administer QuickBooks Online and maintain organized financial records
- Help improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and month-end processes
- Provide guidance and support to an Accounting Assistant
- Partner with the CFO on special projects and process improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong General Ledger and month-end close experience
- Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage confidential financial information with discretion
- CPA or active CPA candidate
- Family office or closely held business experience
- Experience in real estate, construction, logistics, hospitality, or nonprofit accounting
- Exposure to treasury or bill-pay platforms
- Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools to improve accounting efficiency
