Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $90,000–$120,000 + Benefits

 

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established nonprofit organization seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead operations, financial performance, community engagement, and strategic growth. This executive leadership role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while overseeing a multifaceted organization that serves the community through educational programming, public events, facility operations, and mission-driven initiatives.

 

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, oversee daily operations, cultivate community partnerships, and ensure organizational excellence across all areas of the business.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Board of Directors to execute strategic initiatives and organizational goals.
  • Lead daily operations, budgeting, and financial performance.
  • Develop and execute revenue growth strategies, including earned income, fundraising, sponsorships, and grants.
  • Oversee facilities, programs, and operational excellence.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing staff and volunteer team.
  • Foster relationships with donors, community partners, government agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit governance, financial, and operational standards.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional service.

 

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience with operational and financial oversight.
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets and driving organizational growth.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in nonprofit, hospitality, recreation, venue management, community services, education, or other service-focused organizations.
  • Strong executive presence with experience presenting to boards, executives, or governing bodies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fundraising, donor relations, and grant management experience is highly preferred.
