Imprimis Group, Inc. has partnered with a leading recycling services client in The Colony, TX that is hiring an HR Manager.  Our client is growing and hiring top talent to join their HR/Recruiting team.  This role is intended to supports the HR function including but not limited to recruiting, benefit and comp administration, leave management, onboarding, terminations, payroll administration, HR system maintenance, policy development/refinement and adherence, performance management, rewards and recognition, event planning and facilities management. This position aids in the support of facility matters for the Company. In addition, provides direction and advice to staff and management on HR policies, procedures, best practices and other needs that arise.

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; HR certification preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources in a corporate environment with experience in high volume recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions, employee relations and benefits
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Experience working with HRIS, ATS, and performance management systems
  • Experience in effectively working in a cross-functional environment, interacting with multiple departments
  • Strong project management skills so that projects are completed to support the needs of the team and business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Responds well in a stressful, dynamic environment
  • Ability to comprehend complex language, theories, and methodologies
  • Must possess strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate strong follow up by communicating status updates to HR team, manager, employees, and management team
  • Excellent communication including verbal, nonverbal and written skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are needed to drive to effective solutions
  • Ability to remain confidential with sensitive information

 Main Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Recruiting/Talent Acquisition, employee relations, new hire orientation, compensation and benefits, coaching, conflict resolution and light reporting
  • Development and administration of employee policies (employee handbook)
  • Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues
  • Develop and implement programs to help improve the employee experience
  • Identify ways to improve policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and other compliance matters
  • Leaves of absence administration, employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Compensation and benefits administration
  • Support the onboarding and integration efforts related to M&A activities
  • Works closely with management to fill open positions. Post jobs, phone-screen, and interview all candidates to ensure the company is attracting and hiring the best available candidates.
  • Retrieves and reviews resumes from company website
  • Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with staffing firms to ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates
  • Ensure staffing firm contracts are in place and in compliance with the Company’s expectations
  • Coordinates and schedules candidate interviews with the business
  • Communicates with HR Director and hiring manager throughout the search process
  • Identifies potential candidates through various forms of recruitment such as screening resumes and conducting phone screens with potential candidates
  • Interviews candidates virtually and onsite
  • Manages the scheduling of candidate interviews, follow up and the timely completion of pre-employment paperwork
  • Perform onboarding and new hire orientation
  • Ensure all company practices are in accordance with standard operating processes
  • Maintain pipeline of candidates for future placements
  • Maintains a tracking system for follow up and reporting
  • Plans and facilitates regularly scheduled recruiting meetings with HR Director and Leaders
  • Strategizes, coordinates and follows up on all recruitment activities
  • Performs recruitment advertising on social media, public and university job boards, etc.
  • Negotiates starting salaries and administers offer packets
  • Tracks and distributes recruiting metrics, maintains the internal job board
  • Ensures recruiting contracts and agreements are in line with the Company’s expectations
  • Track deadlines and expiring contracts, Maintain detailed and organized files
