DIRECT HIRE | $60-75/HR

REMOTE| DOWNTOWN - DALLAS, TX

Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for a unique and rewarding opportunity? We’re seeking a Personal Accountant to manage the financial activities of a high-net-worth family. This role requires strong accounting expertise, financial strategy skills, and the ability to collaborate with household staff and external advisors.
Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets and operating statements.
  • Budgeting & Expense Management: Develop and oversee personal budgets, track expenses, and generate financial reports.
  • Cash Flow & Liquidity Forecasting: Provide monthly and quarterly reports on cash flow trends and upcoming financial needs.
  • Tax Preparation & Compliance: Work closely with a third-party CPA to ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including income and gift taxes.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: Manage payroll and benefits for household staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with financial advisors to optimize investment structures and business holdings.
  • Bill Payment & Contract Management: Oversee payments, major expenditures, and charitable donation commitments.
  • Insurance & Risk Management: Manage annual policy renewals and collaborate on home and asset insurance coverage.
  • Compliance & Legal Adherence: Ensure all financial activities align with applicable regulations and best practices.
  • Ad Hoc Financial Support: Address additional financial matters as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting, finance, or personal financial management.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with QuickBooks and other financial management tools.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with executives and advisors.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
