ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for daily credit and collection operations.
- Daily cash receipts and invoice posting and reconciliation with bank statement.
- Set up and inactivate Sales Rep accounts.
- Work with other departments to analyze consignment inventory.
- Review orders and work with other departments concerning orders on hold.
- Run credit checks for new accounts.
- Prepare monthly commission and quarterly bonus reports.
- Prepare manual invoices.
- Analyze and reconcile sample accounts for each Sales Rep.
- Run daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Prepare and analyze customer aging reports.
- Reconcile customer accounts.
- Compile month end and year end AR reports.
- Complete other projects as required.
- Assist in other areas of the Accounting Department as needed.

- Adaptability: the individual adapts to changes in the work and ability to manage competing demands
- Customer service skills as the individual manages difficult client/customer situations, responds promptly to external and internal customers professionally and meets commitments.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- 3+ years of accounts receivable experience required including solid understanding of GAAP principles.
- Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in a professional manner.
- Competent computer skills to perform essential functions including strong Excel (reporting and analysis is a must), Microsoft AvidXchange – AX highly preferred, or similar.
