IMPRIMIS GROUP IS HIRING AN APPLICATION DEVELOPER!
CONTRACT TO HIRE | $70-90K
ONSITE | DALLAS/FT WORTH AIRPORT - DALLAS, TX

IMPRIMIS GROUP has partnered with a Dallas airline with a specialty in cargo logistics for An Application Developer for their growing IT/Operations department. The Application Developer is responsible for the design, administration, development, documentation, and technical support of the IT Service Management process. Partners with IT, administrative departments, business owners, subject matter experts, and vendors to develop and deploy reports, systems and applications that automate and audit business processes. Ensures client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of the position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the administration, development, documentation, and technical support of the IT Service Management process.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and transform them into quantifiable and achievable initiatives.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users at all levels of an organization.
  • Provide support for all business applications and responsible for the administration, design, development, maintenance, documentation, and technical support of the IT Service Management process.
  • Work on web projects using .Net Core C# with MSSQL and Entity Framework (Backend), and Vue/React (Frontend).
  • Convert legacy Visual Basic software to .Net Core C# web apps, C# console apps, or C# WPF desktop apps
  • Must possess some knowledge of the following: MS Windows operating systems, ODBC, ADO.Net, SQL, HTML, XML, and current internet browsers such as Internet Explorer and Chrome, debugging, and unit testing.
  • Design applications from modeling the database schema to building out the user flows to creating mock-ups for the interfaces.
  • Build and invoke web APIs to integrate with various systems that are used across the organization such as HR management systems, finance systems, etc.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and transform them into quantifiable and achievable initiatives
  • Must be a dynamic and self-starting individual who is able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal guidance and direction
  • Experience in defining detailed business requirements to support projects.
  • Able to troubleshoot database performance and service outages related to all database touch points, database objects, storage and connections. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex and challenging problems in an efficient, maintainable, and flexible way.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, Execution Plans, and SQL Server Profiler. SQL Server Management Studio and Reports
  • Able to perform release management, troubleshoot and support SQL Server Environment, Clusters, Databases Objects, SSIS and SSRS.
  • Able to document best practices for queries, configurations, database, connections, security and segregation.
  • Working knowledge in Change, Release, Incident and Problem Management and CMS using ITIL framework.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information
  • Implementation and support of SharePoint sites and pages 

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of experience of client-side user support in a professional environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users at all levels of an organization
  • Proficient in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, C#/ASP, JavaScript, Python, etc.
  • Experience with .NET web, desktop, and console development frameworks
  • Experience with the user interface design process.
  • Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technology and systems (Azure and Office365) will be a plus
  • Complex problem solving – identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Monitoring – Monitoring / Assessing performance to make improvements or take corrective action
  • Active Learning – Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future business needs
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technology and systems (Azure and Office365) required.
  • Must be a dynamic and self-starting individual who is able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal guidance and direction.
