Imprimis Group is seeking an experienced A/R Data Entry Specialist with a proven track record of supporting accounting objectives within A/R timelines. The ideal candidate provides support for the Sales department and customers, including order entry, credit card processing and problem resolution. Speed and accuracy are key. The responsibilities of this position may change as the business needs change and progress. This role will help contribute to the growth of the accounting team while advancing your skills.

DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST – A/R TEAM
CONTRACT - 3 MONTHS - $21-23/HOUR
ONSITE – IRVING, TX
Imprimis Group is seeking an experienced A/R Data Entry Specialist with a proven track record of supporting accounting objectives within A/R timelines. The ideal candidate provides support for the Sales department and customers, including order entry, credit card processing and problem resolution. Speed and accuracy are key. The responsibilities of this position may change as the business needs change and progress. This role will help contribute to the growth of the accounting team while advancing your skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT LIMITED TO):
- Maintain customer data files with accurate record keeping by supporting the Accounts Receivable team with billing and posting payments.
- Review A/R and Admin Inbox and address all inquiries including update customer information (billing details) and updated credit card information.
- Send payment through for customer credit cards and resolve any issues with rejected cards.
- Ensure client file is continuously updated and communicate with accounting and sales if scheduled transactions are not completed prior to deadline.
- Data entry of all sales orders based upon customer purchase orders from the sales team.
- Ensure data is reviewed and checked for any discrepancies and verify shipping dates
- Manage/send shipments to manufacturers accordingly based on shipping dates.
- Additional responsibilities will be added upon demonstrating command of the above responsibilities.
- Other duties, including support of accounting and finance departments as needed.
QUALIFICAITONS:
- Some college in Business or Accounting post High School education (diploma required) or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2+ years’ minimum experience with high-volume data entry to deliver precise and timely reports.
- Experience in Microsoft Office – Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, etc., Microsoft AX experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of order processing and/or ERP systems. Dynamics AX or similar highly desired.
- Attention to detail for accuracy and ability to retain training/processes.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and think through processes for determining next steps.
- Punctual and reliable attendance. Some overtime may be necessary.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and adjust priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing and evolving work environment with shifting time frames.
- Professional written communication and phone skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers and co-workers through email, phone and in person. Not afraid to ask questions and research for solutions.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime as needed is an essential function of the job.
