STAFF ACCOUNTANT
DIRECT HIRE
ONSITE | DALLAS
Imprimis is pleased to partner with a well-known personal injury law firm located in the uptown area of Dallas, TX, in seeking a staff accountant. This position will work with a team of 4 accounting professionals who will be responsible for the accounting entities of the firm. This position will report to the Accounting Manager. Ideal candidate for a recent accounting graduate with 2 years of accounting experience of a staff accountant with minimum 5 years of experience.
$55K | with potential to earn bonuses

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Month-end Journal Entry closing
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables
- New Vendor Setup
- New Client Setup
- Year End 1099’s
- Update Accounting Databases.
- Process Check Requests.
- Research and resolve discrepancies.
- Compile and prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
- Verify accuracy of accounting ledgers.
- Compiles data and prepares spreadsheets related to financial activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5 years prior accounting experience
- Very knowledgeable of accounting terminology
- Proficient in Excel, QuickBooks and Word
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills as will interact with internal management as well as vendors and occasionally clients
- Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on project completion
